 Greg Dozier

Commissioner, the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)

A native of Georgia, Greg Dozier obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and a MBA in finance from Georgia State University.  He has served the state of Georgia since 1995, beginning his career in the Legislative Budget Office and has since held positions with the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles and the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget.

Appointed Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) in May of 2005, Mr. Dozier has focused on improving customer experience through reducing DDS wait times and adding more self-service features on the organization’s website to enable customers to skip the office altogether.

Mr. Dozier serves as chairman to the nine-member Georgia Driver Education Commission and serves on the Region II Board of Directors of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA).
